- Select L1/LB Dunk Assist and record the build.
- Begin the approach with no other shot busy, then hold L1/LB.
- Release at the intended in-game timing point and record the attempt.
Start with the mode and conditions
Keep L2/LT released and use the selected shoulder-button mode. The source checks the approach and other action states before starting. A button pressed too early in an ineligible state should be released before a fresh trial; do not assume it queues a later attempt.
Show both input and outcome
Record when the shoulder button is pressed, when the dunk path starts, and when it is released. Keep the player, position, and animation setup with the clip. The game still decides whether the available conditions produce a dunk animation.
Separate activation from timing success
If the input path starts but the attempt fails, that is different from no start. Label both. Use repeated eligible attempts if comparing outcomes, and do not combine this mode with Circle/B trials in the same unlabeled sample.
