The short answer
Test the physical icon-passing combination separately from remapped shot shortcuts. The supplied Button Rhythm handler preserves R1/RB plus physical Square/X.

Rhythm shots. From a button.
Use Button Tempo for rhythm shooting without repeating the stick motion yourself. Tune the tempo for your jumper and keep it saved.

- Record Button Rhythm, the remap, and the controller setup.
- Test the physical R1/RB plus Square/X combination from a clean state.
- Compare the observed input and action without changing shot timing.
Use the physical button specified
A selected stick-click shortcut is not the same physical input as Square/X. Keep the test focused on the combination described by the source. If you use an external controller profile, document what it sends before the input reaches the Zen.
Avoid a busy-state confound
Do not start the trial in the middle of an Auto-Green shot, dribble combo, or Quickstop. Release prior inputs and record the order in which the combination is pressed. A short continuous controller-and-screen clip is useful if the behavior differs from the guide.
Report the right kind of result
This is an input-preservation check, not a shooting accuracy test. State whether the physical combination reached the intended path and include the mode and version. If the input itself is missing, investigate the controller connection before altering the script’s values.
Record these observations
| What to check | The useful detail |
|---|---|
| Combination | Physical R1/RB plus Square/X. |
| Starting state | No other action already running. |
| Observation | Input path and resulting action, not green rate. |
