- Set Dribble Mode to AUTO and close the menu.
- Test up, down, left, and right in separate labeled trials.
- Release inputs and let each action finish before the next trial.
Keep AUTO separate from CUSTOM
The AUTO path uses preset sequences, while CUSTOM uses the saved direction selections. A move remembered from a custom layout is not the expected reference for AUTO. Record the mode at the start of the clip so the comparison can be understood later.
Control the starting state
Keep L2/LT released and avoid starting while another dribble or shot is busy. Use the same in-game player and animation setup. A blocked start under an ineligible state is a different observation from a sequence starting with an unexpected animation.
Save useful evidence
For each direction, record whether the input was received, whether the sequence started, and what the game displayed. If only one direction differs, keep the working directions unchanged while investigating. This is a test plan, not a claim that every preset has been freshly tested on every build.
