The short answer
Keep Button Rhythm’s speed fixed and record the physical Square/X hold and release. This checks the manual input path; it is different from testing a preset Auto-Green hold duration.
WATCH THE FEATURE
Rhythm shots. From a button.
Use Button Tempo for rhythm shooting without repeating the stick motion yourself. Tune the tempo for your jumper and keep it saved.

Rift gives you manual Button Rhythm and timed modes, with enough control to compare them clearly.

- Enable Button Rhythm and record the chosen speed.
- Use physical Square/X for each manual attempt.
- Keep the jumper and attempt type constant while recording your release and result.
Name the input path before recording
The selected stick-click normal-shot shortcut is not the same as the physical Button Rhythm button. Auto Green is another separate path. A useful test sheet records which one was used on every trial so unlike attempts do not get combined into one percentage.
Change only the planned variable
If the question concerns your manual release cue, keep the speed preset unchanged. If you later compare speeds, keep the intended release method consistent and record that as a new block. Mixing both changes prevents a clear explanation of what helped.
Use counts with context
Record eligible attempts and green outcomes, but keep the manual-input notes alongside the percentage. A short sample describes only that sample. This is a test plan, not a claim that GPC Bench has established a universal Rift result.
