The short answer
Record the active manual-shot button, then test a fresh moving R2/RT plus shot press. Keep Auto Green separate so the trial actually checks the intended Quickstop path.

Rift — the #1 2K27 Cronus Zen script.
Rift combines Quickstop and multiple shooting paths in a complete, documented 2K27 setup.
Compare Rift with other 2K27 scripts →Do this first
- Enable Instant Quickstop and identify the manual-shot input.
- Start moving with no other action busy and L2/LT and R1/RB released.
- Make the documented trigger-plus-shot press and record the stop-to-shot sequence.
Identify the mode-dependent button
With Button Rhythm off, physical Square/X is the manual timing input. With it on, the selected normal-shot stick-click serves that role. Record this choice before the trial, otherwise two attempts can look different simply because they used different shot paths.
Observe stages, not only the basket
Record whether the stop begins, when the manual shot starts, and when the physical button is released. A missed shot does not by itself show the stop failed. Keep the movement direction and attempt type consistent across trials.
Separate feature behavior from a speed contest
This protocol checks the documented transition. It does not claim a measured advantage over another script. If you compare alternatives later, use their correct controls and record matched conditions rather than forcing Rift’s activation sequence onto them.

Common questions
Should Auto Green be used as the manual shot?
No. It has a separate standstill path.
Is every different animation a timing issue?
No. Check mode, movement, and trigger conditions first.
