The short answer
Keep the shot path fixed and change only Release Vibrator or its cue delay. Record when feedback occurs without treating it as an automatic release.

- Record the manual shot path and Vibrator MS value.
- Test with Release Vibrator OFF, then ON.
- Keep the same intended hold and note the cue separately from the shot outcome.
Choose the correct field
Auto Green MS and Vibrator MS have different purposes. The first controls a timed-shot path; the second controls feedback. If the test concerns cue timing, keep the Auto-Green settings unchanged and use the documented manual input.
Use a clean cue trial
Avoid R1/RB and other busy actions during the initial check. Record whether the physical button was held long enough to reach the cue value. If no feedback occurs, include the controller and rumble behavior before concluding the script failed to request it.
Report feedback and performance separately
A cue can occur even when the final shot result is not what you wanted. Record both without combining them. The useful conclusion is whether the feedback follows the selected setting for the tested setup, not that vibration guarantees a green.

Common questions
Does the cue release the button for me?
This protocol concerns feedback, not the timed Auto-Green path.
Can controller rumble affect the observation?
Yes. Record the controller and connection.
